I have contacted Atomos support today, but I am shooting on set in 2 days and cannot have such unreliable tech in front of the clients. I have tried installing other past firmware versions. I have tried formatting drive with "secure erase" on. I am using the approved Atomos HDMI 2.0 coiled cable, and also tried it with a generic HDMI. I'll do some combination of turn the camera off and on, unplug and plug hdmi cable, usually a few times, then randomly the input signal will come back after like the 6th attempt.Īnother example: I will shoot and record footage normally, then for the next take go into camera menu and switch to 60fps. To give an example, I will shoot and record footage normally, go to view playback in the playback menu, then switch back to record mode and NO INPUT. I've been having issues where the input to the Atomos cuts out whenever it feels like. u/shickey maintains a videography-themed weekly challenge subreddit, so if you're looking for something to shoot head on over to /r/DoCreativeĬamera, NLE, year started, general location
